INA – BAGHDAD Al-Fatih Alliance revealed the new government formation on Saturday. “The new government will be according to 22 ministries, 9 for each of the Alliance of Building and Reconstruction and Reform Alliance. Three ministers will be for the Kurds and one for Christians or minorities,” stated Ghudanfar al-Bateekh, member of al-Fatih Alliance. He also asserted that these ministries will be as 6 for the Sunni component from each of the two alliances as well as 14 to 16 ministries to the parliamentary blocs. The voting process is set to be on the upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday according to al-Bateekh. “There’s a possibility to postpone the voting process on 4 or five ministries and the new government will be able to be in action next week,” added al-Bateekh. @Shahad J Hassan
