Baghdad, INA The Head of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), Abdul Rahman al-Himaidy, declared that a delegation from the Fund is in the process of extending technical help in order to support Bank and Monetary, as well as other sectors, in Iraq. In a press conference with Ali al-Allaq, the Governor of the Central Bank, which was attended by INA Himaidy added that ‘the delegation will focus on a plan suggested by the Central Bank of Iraq concerning the monetary inclusion of any distribution of monetary services to all business sectors in Iraq. Hamady continued to say “we hope that the delegation will come up with recommendations open to criticism which can be applied in accordance with well-defined steps that will ultimately increase cooperation and consultation in issues beneficial for Iraq.” On his part Ali al-Allaq said that this visit will open the horizons towards further dealings, coordination and consultation with the (AMF), explaining that “there will be well-defined communication towards the upgrading the Banking and Monetary system in Iraq.” He mentioned too that the central bank is about to lay a strategic plan for the monetary inclusion to which the (AMF) expressed its willingness and promised full cooperation in this respect with full support from the (AMF)”
