Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, received on Tuesday, the Australian envoy, Nick Warner.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA),that" PM Al-Sudani received on Tuesday, the Australian envoy, Nick Warner , as they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the means of developing cooperation in several sectors.”
“During the meeting, Mr. Warner expressed the regards of the Australian Prime Minister to Prime Minister Al-Sudani, and Australia's willingness to enhance cooperation with Iraq in various fields to serve the interests of the two countries in development and prosperity”, the statement added.
The statement continued ,"Al-Sudani commended Australia's role and support for Iraq in the war against the terrorist gangs of ISIS, stressing Iraq's willingness to enhance development cooperation and partnerships in the economic, cultural, and investment sectors and in the field of facing climate challenges”.
