Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, confirmed on Wednesday, his personal follow-up to the security file in Diyala Governorate, and attached high importance to it.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Sudani received the Secretary-General of the Iraqi National Project Party, Jamal Abdel-Wahhab Al-Dari, and MP for Diyala Governorate, Raad Hamid Al-Dahlaki."
The statement added, "During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the national arena at the political and public service levels, and emphasized the importance of strengthening internal security and stability, and meeting the needs of citizens."
According to the statement, the Prime Minister referred to "his personal follow-up to the security file in Diyala Governorate, his attaching high importance to establishing stability in it, and preventing any terrorist attempt to attack citizens and their property."
