Military Intelligence arrests two terrorists in Kirkuk

The Military Intelligence Directorate announced on Wednesday the arrest of two terrorists in Kirkuk.

The Directorate said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "based on accurate intelligence information of the Division (Intelligence and Security) of the Eleventh Division, in cooperation with the division's reconnaissance battalion itself, a detachment from the Daquq Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Department, and a force from the Commando Regiment of the Advanced Headquarters Command of Joint Operations Kirkuk Two elaborate ambushes were set up, and as a result, two wanted terrorists were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 terrorism) in the districts of Kirkuk and Daquq."

The statement added that "they were handed over to the requesting authorities in the field and legally."
