MOT: Iraqi receives Airbus A220-300 aircraft provided with unique specifications

The Ministry of Transport announced that the General Company for Iraqi Airways has received the fourth plane (Airbus A220-300), noting that its specifications are high and unique.

The media office of the Ministry of Transport stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the plane is considered one of the modern aircraft equipped with high technologies and specifications, which made it unique," adding, "The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, pays great attention to the development file." Iraqi Airways, and modernizing its air fleet, with the aim of restoring the national carrier to its rightful place among the airlines in the region and the world.

He pointed out, "The coming period will witness the company receiving an aircraft of the same model," stressing, "Work to complete all the terms of contracts for receiving other aircraft from international companies."
