PM affirms the importance of cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia

The Prime Minister, Muhammad S.Al-Sudani , stressed today, Thursday, the importance of reflecting the relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia through frameworks of cooperation at various levels.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, "Al-Sudani received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and his accompanying delegation, and during the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and the consolidation of mutual cooperation in various fields, and coordination.".

The meeting also witnessed the emphasis on activating the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council and the joint committees between the two countries.

The Prime Minister referred to the relations between the two brotherly countries, and the importance of having them reflect concretely on the reality of the two countries, through cooperation frameworks at various levels and levels, according to the statement.

For his part, the Saudi Foreign Minister affirmed his country's aspiration to open wider horizons of cooperation with Iraq, in several fields, in a way that achieves economic integration between the two countries and enhances the interests of their peoples.
