Rashid referred to "improving relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan region as they serve the stability of Iraq, as well as the situation related to the security of the Iraqi borders, especially with neighboring Turkey, and joint discussions related to the issue of water and the safety and security of citizens, which the Iraqi army is achieving in cooperation with the Peshmerga forces on the Iraqi border."
