Al-Halbousi: The Parliament achieved a significant amount of legislative achievement for the rights of the martyrs

Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi said on Saturday, the Parliament has achieved an important amount of legislative achievement related to the due rights of martyrs and their families.
Al-Halbousi said at the memorial ceremony held by Sayyid. Ammar al-Hakim on the twentieth anniversary of the departure of Sayyid Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim and a commemoration of the Iraqi Martyr's Day, which was attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): The sacrifice of His Eminence Sayyid Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim represented a milestone in the history of Iraq and its democratic system.”
 
 
He added,"The streams of blood offered by the martyrs of Iraq and the sacrifices represent a responsibility that requires entitlements and obligations."
 
 Al-Halbousi also affirmed, “Those who gave their lives for this country were hoping for a strong and capable Iraq that would follow prosperity and development.”
 
He also emphasized that The Parliament has achieved an important amount of legislative achievement related to the due rights of martyrs and their families. The Parliament is still keen to complete all legislation that pour in the interest of the citizen and is consistent with the government's program.
