The Kurdistan Security Council announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of a terrorist group affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) that planned to bomb camps in Dohuk.
The council said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "its services managed to arrest a terrorist group affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) that was monitoring military vehicles and religious, social and political figures with the aim of carrying out terrorist acts."
The statement added, "This group was also planning to launch explosions in the camps of Sharya, Bersvi, Kabarto and Sheikhan in Dohuk Governorate."
"The targeted camps include the Yazidi who left the borders of Sinjar district after ISIS terrorists attacked the district, and did not return to their original land due to security instability," according to the statement.
