KRG Prime Minister visits Baghdad

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani headed to Baghdad on Wednesday at the head of a high-level government delegation.
 
According to a statement by the presidency of the regional government received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, headed to Baghdad at the head of a high-level government delegation."
 
"Barzani will hold a number of meetings with President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, parliament’s speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi and head of Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zaidan," the statement said.
 
It also pointed out that "the meetings are scheduled to address a number of files, foremost of which is solving the outstanding problems between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government in accordance with the constitution, in addition to strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the two sides to face the challenges in the country at all levels."
