Al-Amiri congratulates the Iraqi police on the 100th anniversary of its founding

The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, congratulated on Monday, the Iraqi police on the occasion of its 100th anniversary .

Al-Amiri said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate our Iraqi National Police officers on occasion of its 100th anniversary, wishing it further progress and upgrading its multiple responsibilities in maintaining internal security and serving citizens."

The statement added, "We also renew our expression of our pride in all of our security agencies, as we recall those bright pages of heroism and sacrifice, in the Federal Police, the Rapid Response Squad, and all other support formations affiliated with the Ministry of the Interior, had an active contribution and a recognized role in the battle to defeat terrorism."
