Green Zone roads and tunnels will be opened from 5 am on Sunday

Prime Minister's Office announced the reopening of roads and tunnels in the Green Zone, Baghdad starting at 5 am tomorrow.

"The engineering effort was directed to open several roads in the Green Zone and 4 tunnels, according to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammed Shiaa Al-Sudani," said Major General Jassim Al-Zubaidi, the Prime Minister office follow up team member, to Al-Iraqiya News TV.

He added, "The plan will be applied from 5 am on Sunday, and only small vehicles will be allowed to pass until 7 pm daily."
