Al-Sudani expresses Iraq's desire to work with all friendly countries

    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani affirmed, today, Thursday, that the Iraqis stand with the Afghan people in all its sects and components, while expressing Iraq's desire to work with all friendly peoples.

    The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, received today the delegation of the Council of Shiite Scholars in Afghanistan headed by Sheikh al-Akbari," noting that "during the meeting, the general situation in the Islamic world, and the current economic and social challenges facing the Arab and Islamic peoples.

    The Prime Minister assured the delegation of Afghan scholars, "The Iraqi people stand with the Afghan people in all its sects and components," calling for "following the approach of dialogue and peaceful coexistence, renouncing violence, adopting the principle of participation, and guaranteeing the rights of all societal components.".

    Al-Sudani expressed "Iraq's desire to work with all friendly peoples in order to consolidate security and peace and stop aggression and all that degrades human dignity."
