The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, announced the voluntary return of (633) displaced people to their areas in Nineveh.
Jabro said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "(633) displaced persons have returned from Zummar district to their original areas of residence in the village of Barzan on a voluntary basis in Nineveh Governorate, in coordination with the Joint Operations Command and all security and intelligence services and agencies and international organizations."
She added, "There is coordination with the International Organization for Migration ( IOM ) to include returning families with sums of money and building demolished residential homes in the village, in addition to including them in income-generating projects and providing wide job opportunities for the purpose of securing a decent life for them," stressing that "the ministry continues to work according to its governmental program." to end the displacement file in the country.
