The governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, confirmed today, Thursday that the artist Kasim Al-Sahir and the artist Rahma Riyad will open the 25th Gulf Championship.

Al-Eidani said in a statement to Al-Iraqiya News, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the artist Kadim Al-Sahir and the artist Rahma Riyad will open the Gulf Championship 25 next Friday."
