MOH supports Basra stadiums with three mobile hospitals, in preparation for the Gulf Cup 25th

    The Ministry of Health announced Thursday the support of Basra stadiums with three mobile hospitals in preparation for the 25th Gulf Cup, which will start on January 6, 2023.


    The Director of Operations and Emergency Medical Services at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Fadel Al-Rubaie, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that "the ministry will support the Basra Health Department with three mobile hospitals with 140 trained personnel, and they will be present in the Basra International Stadium and the Olympic Al-Minaa for Stadium to provide the rapid aid service."  

     Al-Rubaie added: "The health department of Basra will be strengthened by sending about 20 ambulances to be distributed around the stadiums and at the residence of the sports teams to provide urgent health services in the event of any emergency," noting, "Basra Health department has good staffs and high capabilities and has the ability to cover the championship, but out of patriotic duty, the Ministry is keen to provide the necessary support for the success of this important event.
