Al-kadhimi stressed, Congratulations to Iraq and Basrah in particular for the long awaited approval of hosting the 25th Football Gulf Cup.

For his part, the president of the federation, Adnan Darjal, "thanked him for the continuous support of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, for the federation and for his sincere communication for the success of the 25th Gulf Championship in Basra, to reflect the ingenuity of Iraqis in organizing tournaments and embracing brothers with affection and welcome."
