The Egyptian media delegation, which is currently visiting Iraq, confirmed today, Sunday, that the Gulf Championship of 25 is a bold step, while indicating that Iraq is in the stage of stability.
A member of the delegation and the Egyptian Senate, Khaled Qandil, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Baghdad is now in its brightest form," noting that "the Egyptian people join hands with the Iraqi people to build the country."
He added, "The situation in Iraq is now very stable," noting that "Egypt is open to Iraq."
"The need for a political will on the Iraqi and Egyptian sides to build this country." Qandil said.
Regarding the 25th Gulf Championship, he confirmed that he "will visit Basra tomorrow," noting that "This is an important and bold step, especially after what the world witnessed due to the Corona virus."
