The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Gabro, and the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq Ali Reza Konay, discussed on Wednesday, the situation of Iraqis in Turkey.
The Ministry of Immigration said in a statement, the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Gabro, met today Wednesday, the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Reza Konay, and his accompanying delegation, at the ministry's headquarters in the center of the capital, Baghdad, to discuss joint cooperation between the two countries."
The statement added, "During the meeting, the most important files concerning the Iraqi community in Turkey were discussed, including the file of asylum seekers, especially those whose asylum applications are rejected."
Gabro stressed, according to the statement, "the need to provide them with all facilities and solve their problems in cooperation with the office of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement in Turkey."
