Sayyid Al-Hakim urges to launch a comprehensive global campaign to eradicate poverty

The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, on Tuesday, urged to launch a comprehensive global campaign to eradicate poverty.
 
Al-Hakim said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "On the International Day of Human Solidarity, we express our support and endorsement for the efforts of the UN organization and its affiliated formations concerned in the fields of relief and others in the task of raising public awareness of the importance of solidarity, and reminding governments of the need to respect their obligations in the international agreements”.

Al-Hakim stressed the necessity to to establish relief funds for communities affected by terrorism, wars and natural disasters.
