Al-Sudani confirms Iraq's interest in expanding investment ties with KSA

    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed, today, Thursday, Iraq's interest in expanding economic, trade and investment ties with Saudi Arabia.

    The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani met, this evening, in Riyadh, Saudi Minister of Trade Majid al-Qasabi, on the sidelines of his participation in the Arab-Chinese summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." noting that “the meeting witnessed an emphasis on resuming work in the Joint Coordinating Council in a way that secures increased trade, economic and investment cooperation.”.

    During the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed, "Iraq's interest in expanding economic, trade and investment ties with the Kingdom," stressing "work to activate bilateral agreements in these areas."
