Rashid stresses the need to address the defects in Iraqi Airways

    The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed today, Tuesday, the need to address the defect sites in Iraqi Airways, while the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis, indicated that a plan of action is being drawn up to complete the Baghdad train.
     
     The media office of the Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement that "the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis," noting that "during the meeting, they discussed the most important files in the transport sector and means to improve services provided to citizens, including It meets their needs and keeps pace with the development the world is witnessing in this field.
     
    The President of the Republic stressed "the importance of the transport sector and its development, and the need for it to be among the government's priorities in implementing its program," pointing to "some problems that this sector suffers from, especially with regard to the main land roads that connect the governorates, due to the poor condition of some of these roads and the neglect it suffer from."  
     
    Rashid touched on the issue of Iraqi Airways, stressing "the need to work quickly to address the defects and problems that the airlines suffer from, in order to preserve it good reputation," explaining that "airlines and airports are considered the civilized facade of any country."
     
    The President of the Republic stressed "the importance of adhering to international standards in terms of adherence to flight schedules, cleanliness and provision of services," noting that "the President of the Republic also addressed the issue of Iraqi ports and railways, stressing the importance of developing it in a way that facilitates the services to citizens and enhances the economy."
