Al-Sudani meets with the Law Committee of Samarra the capital of Iraq for Islamic civilization

Prime Minister Mohammad Shia' al-Sudani on Saturday, chaired a meeting of the Law Committee of Samarra the Capital of Islamic Civilization.
 
A statement by the media office of the Prime Minister, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Prime Minister Mohammad Shia'a al-Sudani chaired a meeting of the Law Committee of Samarra the Capital of Islamic Civilization, in Samarra district."
 
The statement added, "Al-Sudani was briefed by the committee on the measures taken to advance and promote the infrastructure of Samarra, the obstacles facing implementing the law and enable the committee to carry out its duties, and ways to overcome the problems that faced the formation of the preparatory committee for declaring Samarra the capital of Iraq for Islamic civilization."
 
Al-Sudani emphasized "the religious and historical importance of the city of Samarra, and the symbol it represents of peaceful coexistence between the components, in addition to its economic, social and cultural importance."
