Defense Minister arrives in Nineveh Operations Command

Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad al-Abbasi arrived on Thursday, at the Nineveh Operations Command, while he held a meeting with all the leaders of the security services in the governorate.

The Ministry of Defense stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi arrived at the Nineveh Operations Command, and upon his arrival, he held a meeting with the Operations Commander and all leaders of the security services, in the presence of the Nineveh Governor."

The statement added, "During the meeting, the minister listened to a detailed briefing on the progress of operations and the opening of the units."
