Defense Minister discusses with the Chinese ambassador ways to develop bilateral relations

Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi discussed, on Tuesday, with the Chinese ambassador to Iraq (Cui Wei), the development of bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
 
"Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Absi received in his office at the ministry's headquarters the Chinese ambassador to Iraq (Cui Wei) and his accompanying delegation, in addition to the presence of a number of senior commanders of the ministry." the Ministry of Defense said in a statement , received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement added, "The meeting witnessed a discussion of bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the People's Republic of China, and their development in various fields."
 
For his part, the Chinese ambassador extended his congratulations to Al-Abbasi on the occasion of assuming the position of Minister of Defense.
