Iraq and Saudi Arabia: Our bilateral relations are deep

Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi and his Saudi counterpart Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz asserted on Saturday, the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Al-Abbasi received a phone call from Saudi Defense Minister bin Abdulaziz, congratulating him on the occasion of his assumption of the position of Minister of Defense, according to a statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and the continuous pursuit to develop these relations to serve the common interests of the Republic of Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The statement included, "The Minister of Defense expressed his thanks and appreciation to his Saudi counterpart, stressing that Iraq's government and people praises the great development in the relationships between the two countries."
