Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, confirmed today, Sunday, Iraq's active and vital role in supporting stability in the region.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani received, today, Sunday, a phone call from the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit."
"The latest developments on the Arab arena were discussed, and the results and decisions of the recent Arab summit held in Algeria," noting that "Iraq's active and vital role in supporting stability in the region was emphasized." According to the statement.
