The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called on today, Tuesday, Qatari companies to take advantage of the attractive investment environment in Iraq.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of parliament stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-Mandalawi met in his office today, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iraq, Khaled bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti, to discuss a number of files of mutual interest."
Al-Mandalawi said, according to the statement, that " Focus should be placed on developing the work of the private sector in the country and encouraging capital, by supporting and activating mechanisms that would facilitate the work of sober companies in Iraq," calling on Qatari companies to "take advantage of the attractive investment environment currently available and offer Its contributions in the fields of energy, health, housing and major development projects.
For his part, the ambassador expressed his country's keenness to, investments and exchange experiences with Iraq, stressing that "their hands are extended to their Iraqi brothers to build common interests that benefit both countries," According to the statement.
