Al-Hakim: Iraq played a role in bringing the views of the countries of the region closer

The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Amar al-Hakim, confirmed that Iraq played a role in bringing the views of the countries of the region closer.

Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "in our meeting with Joost Hiltermann, director of the Middle East Program at the International Crisis Group, we stressed the importance of supporting dialogue among the countries of the region," noting that "dialogue is the best way to resolve crises."

Al-Hakim referred to "the pivotal role that Iraq played in bringing the views of the countries of the region closer and perpetuating bilateral dialogue and direct communication," urging everyone to formulate an equation that guarantees the interests of countries and preserves their sovereignty.

On the Iraqi issue, Al-Hakim stressed the move forward with the formation of the national service government, stressing the importance that the next government work to strengthening the relationship p between the citizen and the political system.
