Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, discussed Saturday the mechanism for selecting the cabinet.
The media office of the Alliance said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Alliance received today, at its headquarters in Baghdad, the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, in the presence of deputies and a number of Alliance leaders, to discuss developments in the political scene and ways of cooperation in order to choose the ministerial cabinet according to mechanisms and terms that will produce a strong capable government.”
The head of the Alliance , Muthanna Abdul Samad al-Samarrai, stressed "the importance of observing the electoral benefits of all political parties to bear the responsibility of supporting the formation of the government," noting that "the Alliance of Al-Azm will contribute seriously to the efforts to form the government in a way that suits the interest of the Iraqi people, who have waited so long."
