The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, affirmed on Saturday, his refusal to the participation of Sadrist movement members in the government of the PM-designate.
The Minister of Sayyed Al-Sadr, Saleh Muhammad Al-Iraqi, said in a tweet, quoting Sayyed Al-Sadr, “We stress our absolute, clear and frank rejection of the participation of any member of the Sadrist movement, who participated in the previous or current governments or those who are not assigned to a position, those who left the movement previously from inside or outside Iraq, or any of those affiliated with us directly or indirectly, we renew our absolute rejection to their participation."
