Al-Hakim congratulates Rashid and Al-Sudani assigning them to form the government

The head of the The Wisdom Movement Bloc, Ammar Al-Hakim, congratulated, today, Thursday, Abdul Latif Rashid on his election as President of the Republic, and Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani on the occasion of his assignment to form the new government.

Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate our Iraqi people, who have been impatient for resolving the political impasse and proceeding to complete the constitutional steps to form the government in another democratic scene witnessed by the Iraqi parliament today.".

He added: "We congratulate His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on his election as President of the Republic of Iraq, and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan for his representation in the Presidency of the Republic.

Al-Hakim continued, "We would like to appreciate the great and distinguished national role played by Dr. Barham Salih during his tenure as President of the Republic.".

In a later statement, Al-Hakim congratulated the person in charge of forming the government, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, assigning him by the President of the Republic.
Al-Hakim said in his statement, which was received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We hope from Al-Sudani to expedite the selection of his ministerial team and to be characterized by professionalism, integrity and hard work, and work to provide services to citizens on the basis of the government program based on priorities and governed by specific time limits."
