Oil prices exceed $98 a barrel

    Oil prices continued to rise, today, Friday, achieving a new jump, with it exceeding $98 a barrel.

    Brent crude futures recorded $98.35 a barrel, up nearly 4% from yesterday's closing price of $94.42.

    The US crude futures recorded a similar rise, at 92.37 dollars per barrel.
