The Ministry of Foreign Affairs-MOFA announced on Wednesday that it will summon the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad to hand him a strongly worded protest note due to the continuous bombing of areas in the Kurdistan region.
MOFA spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The Iranian ambassador in Baghdad will be summoned urgently to hand him a strongly worded letter of protest due to the continuous bombing operations on areas in the Kurdistan region."
Earlier today, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, the Iranian artillery and missile shelling that targeted areas in Kurdistan, declaring the highest levels of diplomatic response.
