the spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahia Rasool, announced on Wednesday, the targeting of a hideout for ISIS terrorist gangs with an air strike in the Hamrin Mountains.
"The Air Force Command planes carried out a successful air strike on one of the hideouts of ISIS criminal gangs in the Hamrin mountain range," Maj. Gen. Rasool said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The strike came in support of a security operation carried out by the heroes of the counter Terrorism Service," The statement added.
