Al-Kadhimi issues directives regarding Arbaeen Pilgrimage

    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi issued on Sunday, a directive regarding the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

    The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi chaired, today Sunday ,meeting to review the ongoing preparations to ensure the success of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. noting that "the meeting was attended by a number of ministers of the security and service ministries, security leaders, and officials concerned with receiving visitors participating in the revival of this occasion."

    Al-Kadhimi stressed, "the commitment to the highest level of security, health and service readiness, and raising the levels of readiness; to ensure the smooth and safe course of the visit, and without any deficiencies, or side accidents," stressing "the service agencies should prioritize providing all the smooth means for the course of the visit, and addressing Obstacles as they arise, emphasizing the provision of all necessary services, and handling emergency cases."

    Al-Kadhimi directed the concerned agencies to put the importance of the occasion in mind, and to provide everything that befits the reputation of Iraq and its honorable people, who were known for their hospitality and welcome on these occasions.
