Washington: We will not let our allies in Europe "freeze"

    The United States confirmed today, Friday, that it will not let its European allies “freeze in the cold”, in reference to the gas crisis in the old continent, which was exacerbated by the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

     The US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken
    , said that "the United States will not let its European allies "freeze in the cold", and will strive with all its might to meet the needs of the countries of the region before the onset of winter."
    Brussels: “Of course, we will not leave our friends alone in the cold.”
    Commenting on the situation regarding the interruption of energy supplies to European countries against the background of the ongoing crisis over Ukraine, Blinken continued: “Although the cost of the Kremlin's resistance remains high, the cost of inaction is high, It will be much higher."
    In response to a question about the prospects for resolving the Ukrainian crisis, the US Secretary indicated that Russia does not show at the present time any interest in dialogue with the Kyiv authorities on a peaceful settlement of this conflict.
