A security operation launched south of Nineveh: PMF

    INA-  BAGHDAD

    Popular Mobilization Forces PMF  announced Thursday  launching an inspection operation in the villages and hills south of Nineveh Governorate, to end the sources of terrorism and search for wanted persons.

     A statement by PMF , received by the Iraqi News Agency INA, stated that "the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization, represented by the 33rd Brigade, launched a security operation to search villages and hills in the south of Nineveh Governorate."

     The statement added, "The aim of the inspection operation is to end the sources of terrorism, fill tunnels, and search for wanted persons."
