Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadrist movement, offered today, Sunday, condolences to the families of the victims of Qattara accident.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet "Once again, suspicions of corruption are causing civilian casualties in Qattara."
He added: "But this time, corruption included places of worship, in all insolence."
Al-Sadr added, "From here, after we offer our condolences to the families of the victims, and we ask God to grant them patience and solace, and to join their victims with the martyrs and the righteous."
Al-Sadr called on the government to "immediate and serious investigation in order to reveal the truth so that corruption does not reach mosques and places of worship as it affected state institutions and ministries."
