The Iraqi ambassador to Jordan is summoned, says Al-Sahaf

INA - BAGHDAD 

Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA announced on Saturday, that the Iraqi ambassador to Jordan summoned to Baghdad.

"MOFA is bringing the ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Haider Al-Adhari, to Baghdad," said the ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

Earlier, the Ministry asserted that it would take action against the Iraqi ambassador in Jordan.

Al-Sahaf clarified, saying "With great interest, we are following what has been circulated on social media, including images concerned with the ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan."

"The ministry draws the attention of the media and public opinion to the fact that it will take appropriate measures in this regard and as soon as possible, in a manner that enhances the values of Iraqi diplomacy," included Al-Sahaf.
