Al-Hakim meets the Saudi Crown Prince

    The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi Arabia, while stressing the importance of resolving the Iraqi crisis without external pressure.

    Al-Hakim said, according to a statement by his office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) Friday that "Iraq and Saudi Arabia represent an economic, regional and international weight," noting that "dialogue between the various parties is the best way to reach satisfactory solutions to the current political impasse in Iraq."

    He added that "the solutions must remain Iraqi without any external pressure," praising "the Iraqi role in mediating between Iran and Saudi Arabia."

    He continued, "We commend the humanitarian truce in Yemen, with the need to find final solutions to the Yemeni crisis," stressing "the importance of coming up with decisions satisfactory to the masses from the upcoming summit in Algeria."

    He stressed that "the Palestinian cause will remain a symbol of the unification of the Arab peoples."
