PMF launchs a security operation in Salah al-Din

Popular Mobilization Forces announced Sunday the launch of a security operation on the island of Albu Marmos in Salah al-Din.
PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a joint force from the army and the Salah al-Din Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out today a security operation to search the island of Albu Marmos in the Salah al-Din operations sector."
PMF added, "The operation was launched with the participation of the army, the 35th Brigade, and the 3rd and 4th regiments of the Salah al-Din Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization, with the support of army aviation to pursue ISIS remnants and destroy its hideouts."
