A successful test to the first Iraqi-made cannon

    The Military Industrialization Authority announced today, Thursday, that it had conducted a successful test par excellence for the (Al-Tahadi Cannon), the first Iraqi-made cannon after 2003 with Iraqi cadres, noting that the experiment was conducted in the presence of a number of military leaders.

    The head of the Military Industrialization Authority, Engineer Muhammad Sahib Al-Daraji, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The authority's factories were able to produce the challenge cannon, which is a model of the global D-30 cannon.".


    Al-Daraji added, "A full battalion of 20 guns was manufactured in Iraq with pure Iraqi efforts by the sons of the Military Industrialization Authority," noting that "the guns were examined by the Directorate of Examination and Acceptance in the Ministry of Defense in the presence of an artillery class order, and the results of the examination were very good. ".

    He added, "Iraq's ability to manufacture such guns will contribute to achieving the country's national security, in addition to achieving an economic benefit, because the production price of these weapons is less than half of purchase and import from abroad," noting that "technical and engineering cadres in the Military Industrialization Authority were able to produce The cannons are a giant step to support the capabilities of the Iraqi army in defending the land and people of Iraq."
