MOFA arrives in New York to attend the Security Council session

The Minister of Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein arrived in New York City, USA.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in New York to attend the emergency session of the UN Security Council to discuss the Turkish aggression on Iraqi lands."

The UN Security Council condemned the Turkish attack on Dohuk province .

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the council stated that it "condemns the attack on the Dohuk governorate, and it renews its support for Iraq's independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity."

"We support the Iraqi authorities in the investigations into the attack, and urge all member states to cooperate with the Iraqi government to support the investigations," he added.

It is noteworthy that the UN Security Council has set today, Tuesday, the date for an emergency session on the Turkish aggression .
