Al-Hakim stresses the need to form a government of national service

    The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed today, Tuesday, the need to form a national service government.

    A statement by the media office of Mr. Al-Hakim, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Al-Hakim met with the British ambassador in Baghdad, Mark Bryson, and discussed with him the developments of the Iraqi political scene and bilateral relations between Iraq and Britain," stressing "the importance of developing relations between the two countries in a way that guarantees the interests of all and preserves the sovereignty of the two countries and deepens their relations.

    Al-Hakim explained: "The nature of choosing the coordination framework for the candidate of the next prime minister," noting "the importance of consensus within the framework on the candidate for the prime minister.".

    He stressed "the necessity of forming a national service government capable of providing services, providing job opportunities, and achieving the required reforms according to specific priorities. He also stressed the importance of internal balance in regional and international relations."
