Defense Minister Juma Inad discussed on Tuesday, with the commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) mission in Iraq, Lieutenant-General Giovanni M. Iannucci, the frameworks for cooperation to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi army.
"The Minister of Defense, Jumaa Inad Saadoun, met in his office at the Ministry's headquarters, the commander of NATO mission in Iraq, Lieutenant-General Giovanni M. Iannucci, and his accompanying delegation," Said Ministry of Defense(MOD) in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, "During the meeting, frameworks for cooperation and coordination at the training level were discussed, as well as providing expertise to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi army."
