The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Rashid Yarallah, and Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq, General Giovanni M. Iannucci three files .

A Defense Ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said on Monday, that "the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General, First Special Forces, P.S.C. Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, received the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, General Giovanni M. Iannucci."

The statement added that "the two sides discussed frameworks of cooperation and coordination at the level of training, arming and providing expertise in order to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi army."
