WHO declares global emergency after monkeypox outbreak

    The World Health Organization declared a global emergency after the outbreak of monkeypox.

    The organization said, "It decided to declare a global emergency after the outbreak of monkeypox disease.".

    "We can control monkeypox and stop its spread using the means we currently have," WHO added.
