The Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah announced on Tuesday, the success of the Hajj plan for this year.
The head of the Commission, Sheikh Sami Al-Masoudi, said in a statement to Al-Iraqiya News Channel, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Hajj plan for this year has achieved success, and that the Saudi side praised the work of the Iraqi Hajj mission."
Al-Masoudi pointed out that "The commission has overcome the problem of the Iraqi pilgrims staying overnight outside the legal boundary of Mina as the convoys united in the center of Mina after coordination with the Saudi side."
He pointed out that "Three deaths were recorded among Iraqi pilgrims this year by heart attacks due to chronic diseases."
